Pay

Hiring Range: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00
Pay Band: 4

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of the state accounting system Cardinal
• Considerable knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices
• Considerable experience and the ability to complete financial reconciliations
• Demonstrated ability to conduct financial analysis
• Working knowledge of contracts for benefit plans
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and audit data
• Experience in handling cash transactions to multiple funds, reconciliation of funds accounts, analytical skills and auditing skills, electronic transfer of data
• Strong personal computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, database, accounting software
• Demonstrated ability to provide customer service to internal and external customers
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to respond to inquiries in a timely manner and ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• High School Graduate or equivalent

Qualifications

• Coursework in Accounting, Business or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) is a plus
