Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support the corporate accounting function by maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have strong general ledger accounting experience, excellent reconciliation skills, and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and financial integrity. Experience in cost accounting within the EPC, construction, or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare and post journal entries and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate/resolution of discrepancies.
• Absolutely ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial and cost data.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules as needed.
• Assist with cost accounting activities, including cost analysis and reporting (preferred).
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and financial controls.
• Participate in ERP implementations, upgrades, or process improvements as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of corporate accounting or general ledger accounting experience.
• Strong experience with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to ensure financial data accuracy and maintain strong data integrity.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Acumatica, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or other similar enterprise accounting systems is preferred.
• Cost accounting experience within EPC, construction, or manufacturing environments is a strong plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
