Accountant III

Cambia is seeking a Hybrid Accountant III (3 days/week in office) to join our team in Portland, Medford, Fargo, Burlington, Vancouver, Renton, Boise, Lewiston, Spokane or Salt Lake City. Responsibilities

• Prepare required monthly journal entries on a timely basis to record appropriate accruals and reclass transactions as appropriate.
• Maintain and reconcile various balance sheet accounts on a timely basis and ensure their accuracy by preparing all necessary documentation for reconciling journal entries.
• Accurately prepare components of basic corporate and subsidiary financial statements.
• Gather, validate, and summarize accounting or statistical data.
• Prepare and analyze administrative cost and budget reports, including the investigation of budget variances.
• Coordinate with other Plans and departments as necessary.
• Support internal and external auditors with consolidated reconciliations, schedules and adjustments, including explanations and answering questions necessary to complete the annual audit.
• Investigate any unusual transactions or activities.
• Coordinate with other Company departments to resolve inaccuracies.
• Propose and implement updates to allocation tables as appropriate.
• Provide mentoring and support to new team members.
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses as requested.
• Review and analyze cost allocations in compliance with CAS, develop policies and procedures in support of company's internal controls, account and report reconciliations, and develop internal and external accounting reports, including audit schedules and support.
• Work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure the timely completion of audits, resolving questions or audit issues as they arise.
• Support department in re-forecasts and budgeting for assigned accounting functions.
• Coordinate the administration and operation of complex financial systems; participate in the design, development and testing of financial system updates and enhancements, including updated internal controls as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPA, CMA or MBA preferred.

Pay

The expected hiring range is $59,837.48 - $80,956.60, the full salary range is $54,151.66 - $86,642.43. and the bonus target is 5%.
