Accountant | Full-Time | Centennial Yards

Responsibilities

• Oversight and contribution to core accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and tax compliance.
• Support and management of month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Ensuring adherence to GAAP, tax regulations, and other relevant accounting standards in all financial processes and reporting.
• Aid in the development of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights to support decision-making.
• Collaboration with other departments to verify the accuracy of financial data and provide support on financial matters.
• Monitoring and assistance in cash flow reporting and forecasting.
• Participation in and support of internal and external audits, preparation of required documentation, and response to auditor inquiries.
• Implementation and refinement of financial processes and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risk.
• Contribution to special projects and performance of ad-hoc financial analysis to support the finance team and broader organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3-4+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

$70,000 - $80,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position.
