ACCOUNTANT
This is an unpaid internship opportunity for college students to develop leadership, sales, project management, and communication skills in a fast-paced and supportive environment. The internship lasts 6 to 9 months, with potential for a full-time position based on performance and availability.
About the role
As an Accountant Intern, you will gain hands-on experience and develop practical skills in accounting and finance. You will work closely with our team of experienced professionals to support various accounting activities and contribute to the overall success of the finance department.

Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in driving accounts to a close.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor management, and customer invoicing.
- Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct research and analysis on accounting issues, regulations, and best practices to support decision-making and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and implement best practices.
- Provide ad-hoc support and assistance to the finance team as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications (or Mac platform Numbers, Keynote, and Papers).
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with people.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.

- Ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment under strict time constraints.
- Reliable and detail-oriented.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship experience in accounting or finance is a plus, but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s.
