Job Description

Pull and request exemption certificates as needed (as per specific state requirements)
Maintaining customer exemption certificates
Maintaining tax automation software to ensure compliance accuracy
Transaction tax audit defense
Preparing and supporting transaction tax refund claims
Assisting with various projects as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma required.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• SAP and Vertex experience are a plus.
• Able to utilize critical thinking/analytical skills to solve complex tax issues.
• Organizational skills to be timely and keep files complete and organized.
• Communicate professionally.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize work. Pivot on assignments as necessary due to deadlines.
