About the Role
The Account Supervisor leads and manages agency resources to deliver high-quality service, ensuring projects meet timelines, specifications, scope, and budget. This role acts as the daily client contact, oversees project financials, and identifies opportunities to grow both the agency’s and clients’ businesses.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day project activities, including development schedules, budgets, and deadlines.
- Own project financials, track fiscal and internal budgets, and provide accurate revenue forecasting and resource projections.
- Lead all aspects of projects: scope definition, planning, execution, estimates, and change request management.
- Quickly learn and apply proprietary Targetbase tools, processes, and methodologies.
- Generate new strategies and anticipate client needs to build the client’s business.
- Manage procurement of project suppliers, including planning, defining terms, and required paperwork.
- Monitor the competitive environment and guide interpretations of competitive activity.
- Support client maintenance requests and updates to current programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SBA, Technology, Creative) to determine project requirements.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and ensure changes are documented and agreed upon.
- Develop client relationships through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and consistent delivery.
- Provide clients with innovative short-term and long-term strategic targeting and direct marketing guidance.
- Champion integration of business across all Targetbase competencies.
- Mentor direct reports (if applicable), including performance reviews and fostering a positive work environment.
- Prepare project scope and plans alongside account leads based on job briefs.
- Define resource skill requirements, milestones, and timelines with account leads.
- Actively promote a positive team dynamic and contribute to agency culture.
Requirements
- 5+ years of digital and/or omnichannel campaign experience; marketing/digital agency environment highly preferred.
- Enthusiasm for consumer marketing and understanding of customer journey principles.
- Solid understanding of relational database technology and CRM principles/applications.
- Exposure to pharma or high-science healthcare (e.g., Oncology, Autoimmune, Rare Disease, Respiratory) highly preferred.
- Client-facing experience with ability to manage expectations effectively.
- Proven track record of leading marketing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams (creative, strategy, analytics).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or Liberal Arts.
- Overtime as necessary.
- Frequent travel required.

Schedule
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office (Raleigh) and 2 days remote.
- Candidates must be local to the Raleigh area and willing to work onsite 3 days weekly.
