About the role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Account Strategist to support the execution and performance of client marketing programs. This role plays a key part in managing day-to-day account needs, coordinating across internal teams, and contributing to performance-driven strategies.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a day-to-day client contact, managing routine communication, follow-ups, and requests with minimal oversight
- Build strong working relationships through consistent, reliable execution and communication
- Lead portions of client meetings (status updates, reporting walk-throughs) with support from senior team members
- Ensure all client deliverables and requests are clearly communicated and followed through, even as priorities shift
- Own execution of project timelines, deliverables, and workflows across assigned workstreams
- Maintain and update key account documents (status reports, trackers, timelines) with accuracy
- Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring deadlines are met in dynamic environments
- Proactively identify risks to timelines or deliverables and escalate when needed
- Support budget and scope tracking at a project level
- Support tasks and project timelines in project management software (ClickUp)
- Begin to connect performance results to campaign strategy and client goals
- Contribute to building reports and presentations, including drafting insights and recommendations
- Partner with media and analytics teams to ensure data is accurate and actionable
- Cross-functional coordination: Coordinate with media, creative, and analytics teams to ensure aligned execution across channels
- Develop project, creative, and media briefs with increasing independence
- Communicate client feedback clearly and ensure it is reflected in deliverables
- Help ensure internal teams are aligned on priorities, timelines, and expectations
- Bring organization and clarity across teams when multiple inputs, timelines, or priorities are in play
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in account management, marketing, or related field
- Agency experience preferred
- Working knowledge of paid media (search, social, programmatic, traditional) preferred
- Experience supporting multi-channel campaigns and client relationships
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear and confident communication and presentation skills
- Working knowledge of marketing KPIs and performance drivers
- Strong attention to detail and accountability for assigned work
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a calm, problem-solving approach under pressure
