Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serves customers by completing new account setup, preparing quotations to customers, order entry, resolving customer complaints and maintaining top notch customer service.
  • Contributes to customer retention by strengthening and developing relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Detailed account analysis to develop action / development plans for specified accounts.
  • Material layout and determining associated processing costs.
  • The execution of outbound sales campaigns.
  • Contact prospective customers and maintain regular communication with existing accounts.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust sales efforts accordingly.
  • The collection and dissemination of relevant sales intelligence from all sales activities. This includes entry of relevant information into system and communication to relevant parties / individuals in the company.
  • Back-up team-mates.
  • Affix assist existing accounts and new accounts and prospects.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct reports. The position will however occasionally act in a supervisory capacity when coordinating the efforts of multiple individuals in the interest of executing a campaign or resolving a customer issue.

Qualifications

  • Requires strong communication skills including the ability to effectively interact face-to-face, via e-mail or by telephone with customers. Additionally, requires the ability to effectively communicate findings and other relevant data to upper management.
  • Requires strong math skills. Requires the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, circumference and volume. Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.
  • Requires the ability to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions / resolutions.
  • Requires computer skills. Requires the use of common computer programs like Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to create hard and soft copy communication and presentations.
  • Requires good organizational skills, attention to detail, dependability, proactive mindset, and problem-solving skills. Requires the ability to multi-task and adapt to a fast-paced work environment where prioritization of workloads is critical on occasion.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma with Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university preferred combined with prior sales experience and/or training.

Reasoning Ability

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • This position is a hybrid position of 2 days at home and 3 days in the office, once training is completed.
