About the role
This field-based Account Resource Manager role supports hospitals, physician practices, outpatient departments, and other healthcare facilities across Arizona, Nevada, California, and Hawaii. The position combines account management, reimbursement support, operational training, customer education, and patient access assistance to help providers successfully utilize AIS Healthcare products and services. Up to 75% travel is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide onboarding, account setup, training, and ongoing support to a portfolio of healthcare customers
- Deliver exceptional customer service and respond to operational and reimbursement inquiries
- Educate providers on coverage, coding, reimbursement, prior authorizations, and appeals processes
- Partner with clinics and physician offices to obtain required documentation and resolve barriers to patient access
- Track, report, escalate, and communicate documentation and reimbursement activity
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the MyAIS Portal and eRx systems, including troubleshooting, password resets, user training, and prescription order support
- Assist healthcare providers and patients with funding and access-related questions
- Deliver educational programs and in-services related to reimbursement, coding, and AIS Healthcare products
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, reimbursement, billing, collections, and operational teams
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 3 years of reimbursement, payer access, or related healthcare experience
- Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement and revenue cycle processes
- Experience working directly with healthcare providers and customers
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel up to 75%
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of pharmacy or specialty pharmacy experience
- Experience in specialty infusion, reimbursement, patient access, or provider support
- Knowledge of commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid reimbursement landscapes
- Experience supporting EMR, eRx, Surescripts, or healthcare technology platforms
- Experience working with hospitals, physician offices, outpatient clinics, or site-of-care facilities
