About the role

We are seeking a talented Account Rep to increase recruitment and drive business development on our 3P sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting and recruiting Brand Owners and Resellers, with a focus on achieving sales performance metrics and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, acquire and grow seller commitment to Selling on Amazon programs.
  • Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of the sellers in your territory.
  • Use these metrics to guide your work and uncover hidden areas of opportunity.
  • Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal team.
  • Prolong and close business to achieve quarterly quota targets for both the quantity and quality of sellers recruited.
  • Understand and utilize the right tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize to achieve quarterly goals.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry and including knowledge of product offerings.
  • Prioritize and complete additional projects (such as SMEship) while maintaining current book of business.
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around the Selling on Amazon product.
  • Develop a clear understanding of the Selling on Amazon products along with the features and functionalities.
  • Assist internal partners to drive change, remove roadblocks and close business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 5+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of inside sales experience.
  • Experience in cold calling, prospecting and qualifying companies or equivalent.
  • Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level.
  • Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent.
  • Extensive Seller Central experience and reverse logistics industry experience.
