About the role
Hexcel is the industry leader in the manufacturing of advanced composite materials, including carbon fiber, woven reinforcements, resins, prepregs, honeycombs, and additive manufactured parts. We are currently seeking an Account Representative for our Burlington, WA location.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct line of support to customer(s), as the key point of contact for the customer/supplier relationship.
- Communicate information, both written and verbal, in a clear, concise and professional manner.
- Responsible for entry of customer purchase orders (POs), including flow down notes, into Hexcel’s ERP system, review and flow down of all contractual agreements for the POs, and price and lead time verification.
- Adhere to International Trade Compliance (ITC)/Legal obligations.
- Develop and maintain positive internal relations and coordinate with various functions within the company to ensure Customer Service department needs, including customer requests, are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Request and assemble information provided by various departments to support RFQ/RFPs and entry of POs received from customers, both internal and external.
- Follow-up with customers to quoted materials and forecast requirements, and supply feedback to management in a timely manner.
- Supply new/potential customers with Hexcel required documents and work with Credit Department to establish credit terms.
- Initiate customer claims (material and non-material) in Hexcel claim system and maintain status of claims for customers.
- Collect and analyze data on customer needs, buying habits, and trends to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred.
- Minimum 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Proficient in the use of Internet, Microsoft Office Suite (WORD, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in use of ERP systems preferred.

Pay
Summary pay range: $66,700 – $93,000 annual salary.
