Account Processing Associate

About the role

This position is part of the Account Processing department within our Bank Operations group. Account Processing primarily supports Retail, Commercial, and Private Banking channels in opening and maintaining deposit accounts with thorough, accurate, and complete documentation. Critical daily tasks include reviewing all new account and customer documentation for adherence to regulatory and procedural guidelines.

Schedule

Initial hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Additional hours may be required as needed.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of banking experience or a college degree preferred, but not required
• Ability to perform consistently in a volume-driven environment where workload fluctuates but deadlines and service levels must be met
• Strong communication skills, both on the phone and via email, with internal customers and business partners
• Strong work ethic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to escalate issues and concerns appropriately
• Ability to perform specific tasks independently
• Proficiency with standard computer software (MS Outlook, MS Excel) and the ability to quickly learn job-specific software and web-based applications
• High degree of reliability
• Other duties as assigned by management

• Cross-train on department tasks
• Make suggestions to correct or enhance existing processes
