About the role
The Account Merchandiser (AM) is a key member of the Retail team responsible for stocking and merchandising beverage products under the Buffalo Rock portfolio. This role requires a high level of ethical and moral conduct and involves driving to and from customer sites, communicating with customers, and ensuring compliance with Buffalo Rock standards.
Responsibilities
- Sell new products, manage incremental displays, and secure additional merchandising space.
- Drive to and from customer sites.
- Service assigned accounts according to Buffalo Rock Standards and Franchise Policy.
- Develop and maintain positive professional customer relationships.
- Communicate transshipping activity in accordance with Buffalo Rock policy and procedures.
- Notify ADC and RSS of new and changed accounts.
- Properly complete required paperwork to Company Policy and timeline.
- Maintain CDA compliance for all assigned accounts.
- Communicate daily with ADC and RSS about product shortages, returns, and operational items.
- Achieve required % of Strategic Execution Objectives.
- Execute and achieve all account program key objectives.
- Rotate products in accordance with Buffalo Rock Policy and Procedures.
- Prepare pallets, trays, damaged product, and returns for pick-up.
- Aid in reporting competitive activity, achieving sales goals, and promoting Buffalo Rock Purpose and Core Values.
- Attend all scheduled meetings and adhere to customer policies.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- No prior experience necessary.
- Valid state driver license with a good driving record.
- Reliable transportation for business use with required insurance coverage.
- Smartphone device.
- Required physical demands: C (constant), F (frequently), O (occasionally).
- Physical capabilities: C (can), O (often), F (frequently), N (not applicable).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work extended hours as needed.
