Account Manager - Surety

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) provides business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions to organizations and individuals seeking limitless possibilities. Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and execution of bonds (performance & payment, license, court, misc. bonds), including collecting data, completing necessary forms and preparing correspondence
• Service and market new and renewal Surety accounts
• Process general agreement of indemnities
• Maintain power of attorney filings and bond supply
• Build and retain relationships with clients and insurance carriers

Requirements

• Five or more years insurance experience (preferably in contract and commercial surety)
• Property & Casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)

Qualifications

• Accounting or Financial background is a plus
• Proficient use of agency software such as Sagitta, Image Right, Surepath, and Microsoft Office products
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
