Your responsibilities
- Call on new and existing accounts, identify customer needs, and provide value-added solutions.
- Stay informed of the market and competitive data and trends, and use this information for presentations and other sales reports.
- Stay in close contact with accounts, resolving issues and identifying opportunities for enhanced customer performance and effectiveness.
- Eligible for sales incentives/sales commissions and lead the sale of capital equipment and consumable products.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years’ successful sales experience
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Solid presentation and public speaking skills, including proper use of grammar and diction
- General familiarity with sales documents and contracts, purchase orders, and financial spreadsheets and reports
- Exceptional customer service skills and focus, including the ability to build strong customer partnerships characterized by mutual trust and respect
- Ability to quickly read the business landscape and recognize the customer’s processes, functions and roles
- Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to quickly summarize and articulate customer issues and concerns
- Unwavering integrity and ethics, even during times of high stress and pressure
- Action-oriented and demonstrate a high sense of urgency
- Ability to negotiate with both the customer and SteelcoBelimed in mind
- Effective and efficient time management skills, concentrating on the most important priorities and segmenting accounts based on potential opportunities
- Highly adaptable to environment
- Ability to diffuse high-tension situations comfortably
- Applies creative solutions and ideas when confronted with a challenging situation
- Basic understanding of organizational and institutional purchasing process requirements
