Account Manager - Remote Role
About the role
The Account Manager is responsible for growing and maintaining strategic customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and providing solutions that help customers maximize the value of their investment. Acting as the primary point of contact, this role builds trust, identifies opportunities to expand business, and partners with internal teams to ensure customers receive an outstanding experience from initial sale through ongoing support.
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow strategic customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities to expand market share and increase revenue within existing and prospective accounts.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding each customer's business objectives and recommending solutions that deliver long-term value and support their success.
- Qualify opportunities, develop comprehensive solutions, and prepare detailed scopes of supply that meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations, negotiate effectively, and close business while consistently achieving sales and profitability objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and distribution partners to resolve territory challenges, improve customer experience, and drive business growth.
- Provide product knowledge, sales training, and ongoing support to customers and channel partners to strengthen relationships and increase market penetration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant sales experience.
- 5+ years of successful B2B sales or account management experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or capital equipment industries.
- Proven ability to develop, execute, and achieve strategic sales plans while driving revenue growth and expanding existing customer relationships.
- Demonstrated success managing key accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and building long-term customer partnerships.
- Strong understanding of market trends, customer business drivers, and industry KPIs with the ability to translate insights into effective sales strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
- Knowledge of standard industry sales processes, solution-based selling, and customer lifecycle management.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
Pay Range: $78,724 – $99,100 per year, based on your experience, skills, and qualifications.
