Account Manager, Private Client
About the role
You’ll be a trusted advisor to high-net-worth clients—helping protect what matters most to them while shaping long-term relationships built on expertise, trust, and exceptional service. You’ll own the client experience end-to-end, lead renewal strategy, and collaborate closely with Producers to uncover coverage enhancements and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary advisor and day-to-day point of contact for a designated Private Client book of business, consistently delivering a high-touch client experience
- Proactively service and retain accounts by identifying coverage gaps, mitigating risk, and recommending thoughtful protection strategies
- Lead renewal efforts from start to finish—marketing to carriers, analyzing options, negotiating terms, and presenting alternative solutions
- Partner with Producers and PCS leadership to make coverage recommendations, support account rounding, and drive cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
- Educate clients on coverage limitations, emerging risks, and available enhancements to strengthen protection and long-term planning
- Respond to client service requests, policy changes, and claims issues within established timelines, serving as a reliable escalation point when needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of service activity, marketing efforts, and client/carrier communications in the agency management system
- Collaborate across internal teams to deliver seamless service and ensure client expectations are consistently met or exceeded
Requirements
- 5+ years’ Personal Lines client management experience
- Valid P&C brokers’ license
- College degree preferred
- Industry specific designations preferred: CAPI, CPRIA, CIC or similar
- Proficient in insurance agency management systems: AMS 360, WorkSmart and EPIC preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Private Client underwriting, coverage and procedures
