About the role
We are seeking a hungry, ambitious, and high-energy Account Manager to join our Boston hub. This is not a traditional account management role but one where you will sit at the intersection of technology, strategy, product, and client growth.
Responsibilities
- Own relationships with strategic clients, supporting onboarding, growth, optimization, and long-term success on Topsort’s platform.
- Learn how modern retail media and marketplace monetization works, including sponsored ads, auction systems, ad relevance, and performance strategy.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business goals and help translate them into actionable platform strategies.
- Analyze campaign and marketplace performance data to identify opportunities, risks, and growth recommendations.
- Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, support, and commercial teams to solve problems quickly and drive customer outcomes.
- Lead client conversations, performance reviews, and strategic discussions with confidence and clarity.
- Become a trusted advisor to clients while helping shape the future of retail media infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in account management, customer success or other client-facing environments
- Strong communication skills — you can build trust, explain ideas clearly, and communicate confidently with clients and teammates
- Highly curious and eager to learn complex products, business models, and technology quickly
- Analytical mindset — comfortable thinking through data, trends, and business problems
- Strong ownership mentality — you take initiative instead of waiting for instructions
