About the Role
The Account Manager is responsible for selling plastic resins, supporting existing accounts, and continuously expanding the customer base.
Responsibilities
- Achieve profitable revenue growth, including robust new business development.
- Meet stated gross margin targets as a percentage of sales.
- Utilize customer-centric selling skills to approach the sales process with professionalism and effectiveness.
- Prospect and make new account calls, develop a robust target funnel.
- Establish, track, and close new business targets consistent with long-term growth objectives.
- Develop, execute, and manage sales plans, sales budgets, and expense budgets.
- Work directly and cooperatively with channel partners to close business based on customer purchasing requirements.
- Create and maintain CRM data and sales statistics as required.
- Collaborate with Technical and Customer Service teams to ensure customer requirements and satisfaction are met.
- Interact effectively at all levels of the customer organization and across all functional groups.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required (equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree).
- Minimum of 3 years of exposure in B2B, face-to-face sales, preferably in industrial or commodity sales.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficiency in English; bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
Work Environment
The role is a remote work-from-home position. The work environment may include shared spaces with constant noise and limited use of a private office.
Physical Requirements
- Regular verbal communication, reading, and comprehension of information.
- Daily typing and weekly lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 40 lbs.
- Regular travel by foot, car, bus, airplane, or other means, requiring sitting, waiting, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to set up desk equipment, including lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling to connect cables and power cords.
