About the role

Schilling Supply Company is a leading independent wholesale distributor of business paper, sanitary service products, industrial and retail packaging supplies, health care disposables, janitorial supplies, and cleaning equipment. Our company has locations in La Crosse, Madison, and Eau Claire, WI, and Rochester, MN. Our primary customers include industrial and manufacturing accounts, nursing homes, hospitals, schools, lodging and hospitality, and building service contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Call on midmarket businesses within an assigned territory to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Set meetings and engage with key decision-makers to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis of current supplies and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
  • Possess the ability to prospect for new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Provide excellent customer service by following up on details and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience with a strong work ethic and ability to build lasting customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to analyze customer needs and present tailored solutions.
  • A self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with the Rochester/Minneapolis business market is a plus.
