Account Manager (Insurance)

About the role

This role exposes you to Avalon Risk Management's clients, the importing/exporting industry, and the various international programs managed by the company.

Responsibilities

• Servicing a Commercial P&C Renewal book of business for our existing clients.
• Working within our Agency Management Systems, EPIC and INDIO to create marketing submissions, proposals, Binders, and Certificate of Insurance.
• Working with clients to answer policy questions, update account changes, assist with premium collections, fielding phone calls, and more.

Requirements

• At least 3-5 years’ of insurance account manager experience.
• Some college-level coursework, especially in insurance, risk management, or business, is preferred.
• An active CA Property & Casualty license.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A strong work ethic and close attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with a team or independently.
• Excellent computer skills, with experience using the EPIC system preferred.

The base compensation range is $73,000 - $83,000 per year, dependent on full experience.
