About the role
We are looking for an Account Manager, Growth Accounts to join our growing sales team at Bluefors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional who thrives on building strategic partnerships, driving revenue growth, and working in a collaborative, high-tech environment.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth within a portfolio of assigned growth accounts across the U.S. and Canada
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow customer relationships into long-term partnerships
- Own the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through proposal development and closing
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal sales, engineering, and technical teams to deliver customer solutions
- Identify customer needs and align Bluefors solutions to meet business objectives
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
- Forecast sales performance and maintain accurate account metrics
- Prepare and present account reviews and performance updates to customers and internal stakeholders
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Meet or exceed assigned sales and revenue objectives
- Travel as required to support customer relationships and business development
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Technology, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in strategic sales or key account management within an international environment
- Experience managing large enterprise accounts and selling complex technical products or solutions to technical buyers
Qualifications
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams
- Goal-oriented with a demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Willingness to travel as required
