ACCOUNT MANAGER CS
About the Role
Responsible for developing and executing market strategy to attain or maintain the desired market position within assigned territory accounts. This includes making sales and support calls, delivering presentations, and communicating issues between corporate, retail networks, and customers. The role focuses on increasing equipment and aftermarket sales and profits while promoting products and services such as fleet management, rental, leasing, allied products, and training. You will identify, communicate, and resolve customer problems, issues, and opportunities in collaboration with corporate and retail networks. The position reports to the Sales Manager but requires close coordination with Operations and Rental Managers to ensure customer service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Apply effective professional selling principles in the working environment.
- Increase overall revenues for OEM New Sales Equipment, Used Equipment Sales, Rental & Leasing, and Dealer Aftermarket products.
- Boost market visibility and share for unit and aftermarket sales for both current and new customers.
- Develop strategic plans and collaborate with local management to secure the market position of assigned accounts.
- Manage the development and activity of assigned territory and accounts, including the full selling process.
- Call on current and target accounts, develop and deliver sales presentations, and ensure adequate sales service.
- Maintain effective communications with the retail network to address pre- and post-sales issues.
- Work closely with sales and marketing management to develop strategies for selling to all customers within the assigned territory.
- Manage and control travel and entertainment expenses.
- Collaborate with branch management and internal departments on receivables and allied equipment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and build new relationships with potential key customers.
- Listen actively, ask clarifying questions, and stay open to other viewpoints while managing distractions and interruptions.
- Prioritize timely follow-up with customers, managers, and staff to ensure effective communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
