Account Manager - Commercial Lines

About the role

This role sits close to the production side, working with a highly involved broker while maintaining the ability to manage accounts independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a generalist commercial book with a focus on construction and associations or property risks
• Handle renewals, marketing, and carrier communication directly
• Support a highly involved producer while maintaining autonomy to run accounts end to end
• Delegate tasks and provide oversight to junior team members as needed
• Help support the continued growth of the book

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of commercial lines account management experience
• Strong agency background preferred from independent brokerages
• Experience across construction, habitational, or property driven accounts
• Able to manage a book independently and communicate with carriers directly
• Leadership mindset with the ability to delegate and guide others

Qualifications

• EPIC system experience preferred
