About the Role
We are looking for a high-energy, highly motivated, and creative person to join the team as our Account Manager, Club Channel. This individual will report to and partner with the Senior Director of Sales, Club to rapidly scale the business. The Account Manager is responsible for delivering the revenue, distribution, and trade funding objectives for the channel in accordance with company sales plans and budgets.
Responsibilities
- Achieve Fiscal Year Financials:
- Direct and deliver key financial metrics versus Plan within aligned trade spend plan
- Account Plan management, contributing to both current year and long-range plan forecasts
- Ability to operate in an ever-changing customer/competitive landscape and adjust strategy ongoing to hit KPIs
- Customer Development & Execution:
- Work with the Senior Director of Club Channel to create long-term, thought leadership visions for customer accounts
- Achieve new item, assortment, pricing, and merchandising objectives set forth for specific customer objectives
- Manage the forecast, in partnership with the Business Analytics Team
- Build relationships with each regional Buying Office, creating long-term partnership & strategic synergies
- Extremely detail-oriented in day-to-day fulfillment/PO management; ensuring product arrives to correct facilities on time
- Build yearly rotational strategy for customer/region that hits all of Chomps LRP goals
- Strong data acumen, to build best-in-class selling materials to influence Buying decisions in the Club Channel
- Effectively engage and leverage cross-functional resources (Brokers, Business Development team, Shopper Marketing, eCommerce, Finance, Supply Chain) to exceed/achieve business objectives
- Customer Meeting Support: coordinate sales/review/innovation presentations at customers leveraging cross-functional support to enable a team selling approach
- Capabilities:

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
- Previous experience working with or at key retailers is a must: Costco, Sam's Club, or BJ's Wholesale
- Has worked in high-stakes negotiations with large retailers previously
- Excellent interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Very strong team player, ability to work with cross-functional teams to get results
- Experience in sales planning, trade management, and forecasting
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
- Self-sufficient and highly detail-oriented
- Passion for natural and organic products
- Ability to travel for trade shows, sales calls, and meetings – approximately 40% of the time
- Bachelor's degree
- Must be an analytical thinker and data-driven; strong data analysis skills and experience working with IRI/Nielsen and/or Retail POS data
- Have worked with trade management and demand planning software
- Strong PC skills including online applications, MS Office
- Must reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Pay
The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $115,000 plus a 20% annual bonus.
