Account Manager – Automotive Lighting – J/K OEMs
About the role
FORVIA HELLA is seeking an Account Manager to partner with J/K OEM customers to obtain lighting program awards. This role will join a well-established and growing global team focused on advancing the automotive market.
Responsibilities
- Support external and internal lighting products for customers
- Partner with program management to define customer strategy for assigned product groups
- Maintain a strong customer network, identifying customers' needs, aligning with FORVIA HELLA strategy, and coordinating program functions
- Lead acquisitions and ensure the profitable growth of the account, including new program and change management stages
- Plan and execute prices and reimbursements of your projects, addressing any deviations to ensure the budget
- Conduct problem-solving to mitigate issues during the design process
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of sales experience on similar positions in the automotive industry, preferably in the lighting sector
- Experience working with J/K OEM customers and maintaining an existing customer network
- An open-minded personality, easy to approach, and capable of motivating and inspiring others
- A strong interest in selling innovative and complex products
- Preferred but not required: Ability to speak Japanese or Korean
