Responsibilities
- Follow established sales processes, including SBG’s 10 steps for sales calls and retail execution standards
- Establish and grow productive, professional relationships with store-level managers and personnel
- Ensure all SBG retail execution standards are met
- Execute retail programs as defined by SBG chain management and ensure planogram integrity
- Review customer-generated orders, adjust as necessary, and ensure appropriate inventory levels
- Take inventory and write replenishment orders
- Ensure product displays are organized, rotated, and adhere to quality and pricing standards
- Set up new displays and refresh existing ones; ensure proper placement of point-of-sale (POS) materials
- On delivery day:
- Organize product in the back room
- Rotate product according to SBG’s quality standards
- Fill U-Boats as needed
- Build displays
- Rotate SBG products from displays to shelves
- Ensure correct pricing and point-of-sale materials are in use
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws and adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Work cooperatively with delivery and merchandising support
- Follow SBG’s safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- Previous sales experience required; beverage industry experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence others
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet daily goals and deadlines
- Knowledge of beverage merchandising standards and product distribution best practices
- Problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented approach
- Ability to maneuver heavy products (e.g., 168-pound kegs and 35-pound cases) regularly
