About the role
This position requires a minimum of one year of experience in employee health benefits. This Account Manager opportunity will involve working directly with Account Executives and owners of the company on all areas of group health plans for clients ranging from 2 to 500 employees.
Responsibilities
- Involvement with all types of employer group benefits (e.g. medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA, FSA, etc.).
- Maintain a working relationship with assigned group clients.
- Provide support to Account Executives and other Stumm employees in:
- Development of renewal exhibits with plan design analysis & contribution modeling
- Preparation, release, and analysis of RFPs
- Census compilation
- Internal online enrollment site management and transaction processing
- Carrier online enrollment site transaction processing
- Claim resolution and other problem-solving areas
- Bill audits
- Prepare employee benefit open enrollment materials.
- New carrier implementation for clients when necessary.
- Work with other Stumm team members to support clients throughout the entire plan year.
Requirements
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum one year of experience in group employee benefit consulting is a must.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Illinois Life & Health Insurance Producer License will eventually be required, but not mandatory for initial hire.
