Responsibilities
- Negotiate and administer cost-effective agreements with specialty providers to deliver quality healthcare services to inmates at Federal Prisons.
- Support current and future business for the Bureau of Prisons team, securing Letters of Intent and establishing preliminary relationships.
- Analyze data related to payment, utilization, and network gaps.
- Develop strong relationships with executive teams and providers affiliated with our network hospitals to achieve network growth and cost targets.
- Provide high-quality customer service to resolve escalated or challenging customer situations through prompt response and follow-through.
- Negotiate medical claims for out-of-network providers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in provider contracting, including contract and reimbursement negotiation.
- Ability to effectively interact and present information to practice administrators, physicians, and executives.
- Identify network gaps and opportunities through data analysis.
- High attention to detail with an emphasis on customer service best practices.
- Strategic, revenue-driven thinking with a customer-first focus.
- Ability to exercise good judgment, understanding, and confidentiality for account contracts and Request for Proposals.
- Proven organizational skills, time management, strategic planning, change management, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated clear and persuasive communication to ensure accountability and follow-through.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare or contract negotiation preferred.
- Basic understanding of Medicare Parts A and B reimbursement.
- Proven account management or sales support experience.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills through process improvement and quality enhancements.
Pay
$75,000–$85,000
