About the role
S&K Building Services is growing fast-and we're looking for driven, competitive, relationship‑builders ready to fuel that growth as an Account Manager.
Responsibilities
- Generate and close new business through door‑to‑door outreach, cold calls, presentations, and networking
- Build creative, "out‑of‑the‑box" sales strategies-and measure what works
- Qualify leads, manage the pipeline, and close deals that move the needle
- Build strong, lasting relationships by understanding client goals and needs
- Maintain a strong client base within your assigned territory
Requirements
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the field services industry
- A proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals
- Experience with CRMs (Smart Service a plus)
- Strong pipeline management and sales strategy skills
- Tech‑savvy mindset and data‑driven approach
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
- Self‑motivation, discipline, and competitive drive
Qualifications
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, if needed
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within your territory
- Residence in-or willingness to relocate to-Lansing, Detroit, or Grand Rapids - this role will serve all 3 locations
