Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities

  • Communicate with and directly support Sales Representatives to coordinate successful and on-time delivery of marketing promotions
  • Cook samples and marketing materials for clients as directed
  • Communicate with customers by phone or email to build excellent relationships in order to provide great customer service
  • Analyze and submit new orders with order follow-up from production to delivery
  • Continually review orders for changing priorities in order status to properly respond to material, delivery, and lead time requirements
  • Cook order shipping logistics
  • Liaison with customers and other departments to ensure the smooth movement of freight by providing tracking information and shipment updates
  • Resolve logistics issues or shipping delays with a sense of urgency
  • Maintain prospect, customer, and supplier information in systems as needed
  • Complete miscellaneous tasks to support sales efforts as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    • Strong communication, time management, and prioritization skills
    • 4+ years professional experience
    • Trustworthy with ethics and integrity demonstrated at the highest level
    • Deadline-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
    • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
    • Creative problem solver that can operate under short deadlines
    • Team player with a willingness to chip in and do whatever is needed to get the job done
    • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage own time efficiently, produce high quality work and meet deadlines consistently
    • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with regular interruptions
    • Team player with grit to do whatever is needed and persevere through any challenge
    • Experience in the Promotional Products or Special Markets industry a plus
    • Experience with Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation a plus
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
    • Ability to identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements
    • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
    • Professional, friendly, polite interaction with suppliers, brokers & clients
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with a strong knowledge of data entry and office systems
