Day-to-Day Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate with and directly support Sales Representatives to coordinate successful and on-time delivery of marketing promotions
- Cook samples and marketing materials for clients as directed
- Communicate with customers by phone or email to build excellent relationships in order to provide great customer service
- Analyze and submit new orders with order follow-up from production to delivery
- Continually review orders for changing priorities in order status to properly respond to material, delivery, and lead time requirements
- Cook order shipping logistics
- Liaison with customers and other departments to ensure the smooth movement of freight by providing tracking information and shipment updates
- Resolve logistics issues or shipping delays with a sense of urgency
- Maintain prospect, customer, and supplier information in systems as needed
- Complete miscellaneous tasks to support sales efforts as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Strong communication, time management, and prioritization skills
- 4+ years professional experience
- Trustworthy with ethics and integrity demonstrated at the highest level
- Deadline-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Creative problem solver that can operate under short deadlines
- Team player with a willingness to chip in and do whatever is needed to get the job done
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage own time efficiently, produce high quality work and meet deadlines consistently
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with regular interruptions
- Team player with grit to do whatever is needed and persevere through any challenge
- Experience in the Promotional Products or Special Markets industry a plus
- Experience with Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Ability to identify and meet customers’ needs and requirements
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral
- Professional, friendly, polite interaction with suppliers, brokers & clients
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with a strong knowledge of data entry and office systems
