Account Manager
Responsibilities
- Making outbound prospecting calls
- Meeting with business leaders to discuss their workforce and talent objectives
- Providing ongoing follow-up for customer support
- Familiarity with the GSA Schedule and associated Regulations
- Uncover partnerships and create teaming arrangements with Government Contractors
- Conduct IT and Leadership Assessments
- Meet and exceed Sales quota
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications preferred.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in professional sales and marketing, preferably working experience with Department of Defense (DoD), military and other federal government bids.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or SalesForce CRM.
- High level of professionalism, diplomacy and tact.
- Ability to effectively use CRM
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work effectively both independently as well as part of a team.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Self-starting with solid follow-through and multi-tasking capabilities.
- Well-developed technological skills (PC, Internet, MS Office, CRM, Mobile).

We are currently seeking an Account Manager to manage existing accounts as well as uncover and acquire new business opportunities in both the private and government sectors. As an Account Manager, you will be selling our SkillOps technology training products as well as the Dale Carnegie Professional Leadership courses for southeastern Virginia.

Base salary and incentive compensation ($70,000 - $85,000).
Schedule
Based at Virginia Beach, VA office + 10% local travel.
