About the role
HPI is a respected industry leader with over 44 years of experience in providing health and benefit solutions to employers. Our Account Manager (AM) plays a crucial role in coordinating and managing plan implementations for both new and existing clients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage plan implementation for new clients, including producing educational materials, conducting benefit meetings, and designing and communicating plan designs.
- Collaborate with internal staff to resolve service issues, communicate plan design changes, and handle renewals and other relevant information.
- Develop all employee/employer materials and prepare reports requested by employers/brokers.
- Aid clients/brokers with analysis of reports, compliance and reporting requirements related to benefit plans, and federal mandates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in client services, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Three to five years’ experience in client services.
- Effective communication skills across all levels.
- Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Understands system interactions and maintains confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
