Account Manager

On the sales team, we have a variety of roles and skill-sets, and we're looking to enhance our project management and inside sales depth. We're proudly in business for over 25 years, with a seasoned depth of wonderful clients and referrals. Our team focuses on pleasing our Key Accounts and prioritizes most of our efforts and activities supporting this philosophy. We have a groovy designed space that our team loves—right in the heart of the bustling Cultural District in Pittsburgh.

If you are new to the industry, with the right attitude, we are very willing to train you on our proprietary order entry system as well as product knowledge, color, design, etc. Quality and Accountability are two characteristics we've recently highlighted from the Pillars of our foundation. We're looking for someone who wants to work with colleagues all focusing on improving and being better teammates.

Responsibilities

• Has a thorough knowledge of all AlphaGraphics products and services, production processes, capabilities, and pricing
• Maintains a professional appearance
• Ensures all clients have a positive customer experience
• Provides customers with the benefits they will experience when using our products and services
• Consults with customers to help them make decisions; up-sells and cross-sells when there are opportunities
• Asks probing questions to support the internal team's ability to produce the client-requested project
• Reviews customer’s proofs, manages the proofing process, and calls customers when jobs are ready for pick-up
• Creates job estimates that are prepared in a timely manner, professionally presented, and carefully reviewed for job pricing and accuracy
• Routinely resolves customer inquiries and complaints
• Displays necessary mastery of MIS tools to create and estimate customer projects effectively
• Maintains current pricing strategies and customer billing procedures

Requirements

• Branding/Design, Print, or Signage Account Management experience highly desired, but not required
• Possesses a solid knowledge of MIS systems and order entry processes
• Handles all communications with customers in a professional and respectful manner
• Strong analytical skills (break projects into steps or sets)
• Excellent writing and verbal skills
• Professional appearance and decorum
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to shift priorities quickly and as needed
• Ability to be part of a strong, successful team
