Account Manager
About the role

Responsibilities
- Listens to and understands customers' needs, challenges, and opportunities to provide innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Sells, promotes, and markets different Greenheck Group products according to the customers' needs, expectations, and requirements.
- Maintains and builds strong business relationships with a variety of different key customers using solid working knowledge of Greenheck’s products, applications, and CAPS software.
- Develops and manages a sales plan to increase sales effectiveness within the assigned territory; grows and develops new business along with maintaining and further developing existing business partners.
- Provides product quotes in CAPS to customer Engineering and Purchasing teams.
- Maintains regular contact with customers including updates on new products, resolving issues, providing potential solutions to problems, design changes, and creative cost reduction ideas.
- Works directly with Business Unit team members regarding product questions, Special Design Requests (SDR’s), etc.
- Proactively seeks out purchasing decision makers and develops solid business relationships.
- Delivers successful collaboration efforts by presenting highlights of our products and service capabilities throughout the company.
- Explores opportunities to sell additional Greenheck Group products to existing customer base to increase the value of customer/vendor relationships.
- Promotes facility / corporate visits with strategically important customers and business partners.
- Attends trade shows, product shows, and industry functions to stay informed on activities and changes within the marketplace.
- Travel as needed within the assigned territory to meet customer expectations.
- May effectively engage and assist in contract negotiations with customers.
- May provide technical and application assistance to consultants to influence design and specification requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sales, or related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience required in direct sales, outside sales, mechanical.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (orally and written) required.
- Willingness to work with a high degree of autonomy.
- AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar software experience desired.
- Analytical ability required.
- HVAC experience desired.
Qualifications
- Professional background in either mechanical engineering or outside sales desired.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and products.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar software.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Pay
The anticipated total annual compensation range for this role is $80,000 to $208,000.
Schedule
This position requires occasional travel within the assigned territory to meet customer expectations.
