Responsibilities
- Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, overseeing renewals, coordinating plan implementations, and handling benefit inquiries and issue resolution.
- Preparing and presenting client reports, communicating plan performance and utilization metrics, and partnering with internal teams such as sales, underwriting, operations, and customer service to support high-quality service delivery.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve client satisfaction, support retention and growth, and promote Delta Dental of Illinois' products and wellness initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of client relationship management, including the ability to build trust, respond promptly to client needs, and support retention and growth initiatives.
- Current Illinois Insurance Producer's license, or the ability to obtain one within a defined period after hire.
- Experience in benefits administration, insurance, or healthcare-related services, with an understanding of dental or health plan design, enrollment processes, and renewal cycles.
- Strong communication and presentation capabilities, with comfort explaining complex benefit information to diverse audiences in a clear, accessible manner.
- Organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple accounts, manage deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret plan utilization data, identify trends, and collaborate on solutions for cost management and improved member outcomes.
- Proficiency with common business software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office applications, CRM platforms) and the ability to learn organization-specific systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating in person in Naperville, IL and independently from home, while maintaining high levels of accountability and follow-through.
