About the role
We're looking for an Account Manager to join our team. You'll sit between the Account Director and the executives below you - owning the day-to-day running of your accounts, keeping campaigns on track and making sure the team has what they need to deliver. This is a role for someone organized, culturally switched on and genuinely passionate about social media.
Role
- Serve as the main day-to-day contact for clients, building strong working relationships under the guidance of the Account Director
- Lead scheduled and ad hoc client calls and deliver presentations with a passion for storytelling
- Keep status documents updated daily and ensure the wider team is informed of actions and priorities
- Manage campaigns end-to-end - timelines, budgets, client expectations and internal resource
- Support the Account Director on budget development and reconciliation at project close
- Support executives with weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
Creative, Strategy & Production
- Stay immersed in social culture and proactively flag reactive opportunities across your accounts
- Receive and translate client briefs, breaking these down for internal teams and reviewing work before client delivery
- Contribute to internal creative brainstorm sessions, supporting the Account Director in pushing creative thinking
- Manage the full production process - from pre-production and PPMs through to shoots and edit schedules
- Manage the editorial process, briefing the team on content calendar creation and providing feedback throughout
- Review reactive social opportunities and provide appropriate creative feedback
Influencer Support
- Support the influencer team with talent management and fee negotiation
- Afford influencers and influencer content from a client and brand perspective, considering reputation, fit and objectives
- Review contracts and briefs for all influencer activity across your accounts
Internal & Management
- First line of support for executives - 1:1s, day-to-day guidance, workload management and mentorship
- Lead internal status calls and act as the main point of contact for internal queries on your accounts
- Manage invoicing across campaigns, including raising POs and scheduling payments with the accounts team
What we are looking for
- Proven experience in an account management role within a social or creative agency
- Strong client-facing skills - confident presenting, leading calls and building relationships
- Excellent project management ability - detail-oriented, deadline-driven and able to juggle multiple accounts
- Comfortable managing budgets and tracking delivery against scope
- Deeply plugged into social culture, trends and platforms
- A natural collaborator who can brief, manage and support internal teams
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
Coolr Offer
- Competitive salary reflective of your experience and aligned with our internal salary bands

- Wellbeing day off — one additional day off plus a $50 voucher to support your wellbeing
- Private Healthcare cover, Tech scheme + more
- Coolr weekly socials - we get together every week to connect as a team
- A competitive, benchmarked salary ranging from $70 to $80k, based on your experience and level
