Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business through prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, facility owners, engineers, and end users.
  • Conduct sales presentations and recommend products and services that meet customer needs.
  • Follow up on leads and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales information in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, boiler systems, and applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Travel locally to customer locations throughout the assigned territory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of outside sales or technical sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of boiler and hydronic systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel approximately 50% locally.
