About the role
Apply Description Atlas Toyota Material Handling is currently hiring an Account Manager to join their growing sales team. The ideal candidate will build, manage, and maintain strong business relationships within an assigned territory to drive consistent revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and maintain strong business relationships within an assigned territory to drive consistent revenue growth.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s products and competitive offerings to effectively specify, recommend, and sell material handling equipment.
- Communicate and follow up on all service department estimates in a timely manner.
- Deliver effective sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Congduct all business with honesty, integrity and professionalism, while building and maintaining strong relationships with professional buyers.
- Foster positive, collaborative working relationships with coworkers and internal sales representatives.
- Provide equipment leads and communication of customer needs to the correct departments while looking for opportunities with the customer’s best interest in mind.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, the ability to maintain a good driving record, and valid car insurance.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, a technical field, or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of three years of business-to-business sales experience.
- Material handling and/or transportation and logistics industry experience is preferred.
- Proven success at prospecting and developing new customer opportunities.
- Experience in implementing new technologies and process improvements to existing customers.
- Able to build and nurture a strong pipeline.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Knowledge of software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM databases.
- Experience with equipment financing or financing solutions is a plus.

Pay
Salary Range: $75,000 - $125,000
Schedule
This position is primarily performed in an office setting and involves prolonged periods of sitting and computer use. Occasional physical activities may be required, including, but is not limited to, standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting (typically up to 80 lbs.), as needed. Regular travel within an assigned territory is required; the ability to operate a motor vehicle is necessary for this role.
