Account Manager
About the role
Are you energized by bringing structure to complex client work, turning data into practical recommendations, and making sure important commitments reach the finish line? Join Assurant as an Account Manager supporting lender-placed insurance clients. You’ll partner closely with experienced Account Executives and teams across Operations, Business Relationship Management, projects, claims, underwriting, customer care, and other areas to keep client priorities visible, organized, and moving forward. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys both relationship building and hands-on execution. You’ll lead recurring client conversations, coordinate deliverables, monitor performance, support audits and business reviews, and help resolve concerns before they become recurring problems. You do not need prior lender-placed insurance experience to be successful. We’re looking for someone with strong professional judgment, reliable follow-through, and the ability to learn a complex business while building trusted partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day relationship and delivery for assigned lender-placed insurance clients, representing client needs while balancing Assurant’s operational, contractual, regulatory, and business responsibilities.

- Maintain task plans, project trackers, audit matrices, and action logs that keep commitments, owners, deadlines, dependencies, and client expectations organized and visible.
- Coordinate client requests, audits, implementations, complaints, service concerns, and operational issues across internal partners, maintaining ownership through resolution or an agreed next step.
- Analyze reporting, service levels, scorecards, claims, operational trends, and client feedback to identify risks and recommend improvements to service, workflows, documentation, processes, or efficiencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience in mortgage loan servicing, financial services, insurance, or another professional business environment.
- Ability to balance and manage multiple needs, deliverables, and competing priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining strong follow-through.
Skills
- Strong relationship building, work coordination, organization, and professional presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze client, customer, or operational data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
