Account Executive - WFM Sales

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development within mid-market accounts (1,000–3,500 employees) across an assigned U.S. territory, building pipeline and advancing opportunities through full-cycle consultative sales
  • Engage HR, Finance, and Operations decision-makers to position a leading cloud HCM platform as the solution of choice — articulating ROI, total cost of ownership, and competitive differentiation
  • Lead discovery and solution-design conversations that connect customer workforce challenges to platform capabilities across payroll, HR, benefits, timekeeping, and workforce management
  • Build and maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, and opportunity data within CRM tools to support territory planning, sales reviews, and revenue predictability
  • Negotiate and close complex multi-stakeholder deals, coordinating internal resources across solution consulting, legal, and implementation to move opportunities from qualification to signed contract

Requirements

  • 5+ years of direct HCM software sales experience — specifically selling HR, payroll, workforce management, or benefits solutions to mid-market or enterprise buyers
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota in B2B HCM sales, with demonstrated ability to prospect, develop, and close complex new business opportunities across multiple stakeholders and buying cycles
  • Deep understanding of HCM solutions including HRIS, payroll processing, benefits administration, and workforce management — and the ability to translate that knowledge into a compelling business case for senior buyers
  • Executive-level credibility with CHROs, CFOs, and VP-level leaders, with the ability to develop relationships grounded in a strong understanding of HCM business drivers, ROI expectations, and value realization
  • Disciplined approach to CRM hygiene, territory planning, and pipeline management — with the independence and accountability to operate effectively in a remote, quota-carrying sales environment
