About the role

The Account Executive will drive significant revenue growth for Splunk Commercial accounts. Key responsibilities include establishing a strategic vision, meeting revenue targets, and enhancing customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Engage both existing customers and new prospects to contribute to the organization’s financial goals.
  • Develop compelling enterprise solutions that articulate clear value and ROI across multiple decision-makers.
  • Influence the customer experience by enabling high transactional velocity and delivering impactful sales outcomes.
  • Contribute to the overall market presence and revenue share of the organization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of SaaS sales experience, preferably in a quota-carrying role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Splunk products and services addressing customer challenges.
  • Expertise in consultative and solution selling methodologies.
  • Strong territory planning, forecasting, and sales cycle management skills.
  • Excellent critical judgment and negotiation skills.
  • Relevant experience in software industry domains.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with C-level executives.
  • Ability to collaborate with business partners to enhance cross-team alignment and customer success.

Pay

The starting salary range for this position is $172,000.00 to $236,500.00, reflecting the projected salary range for new hires in U.S. and Canadian locations, not including incentive compensation, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training.

Schedule

This role can be performed remotely from anywhere on the west coast (PST).
