Account Executive - MDU Sales

About the role

TDS Telecom is seeking a highly motivated Account Executive – MDU Sales to join our dynamic team. This role involves expanding TDS’s presence in Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) communities through strategic sales and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute territory plans to expand TDS’s footprint within MDU properties
• Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building
• Present customized solutions and negotiate agreements, including Right of Entry (ROE), bulk service contracts, and marketing partnerships
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to deliver seamless site activations and maximize customer penetration
• Serve as a brand ambassador—delivering consistent, impactful messaging that elevates awareness and drives results
• Maintain and grow strong relationships with key influencers and decision-makers across your territory
• Generate consistent new business development through cold calling and prospecting

Qualifications

• 2+ years outside field sales experience exceeding revenue quotas preferably in B2B sales or MDU environment
• 1+ years of experience in drafting and negotiating proposals and contracts
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to travel up to 50% of time
• Strong experience in utilizing CRM systems
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-system environment
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Track record of success in business-to-business sales by exceeding revenue and quota
