About the role
Ruder Finn is seeking a talented Account Executive to join our Healthcare Practice. This role involves supporting campaigns that drive disease awareness, amplify data milestones, activate social and influencer programs, and shape meaningful conversations across the healthcare landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content including press releases, social media and blog posts, pitch letters, fact sheets, speeches, presentations, and client correspondence.
- Create solid understanding of client business and their competitive environments, including business strategy, products and services, key customers and competitors.
- Develop thumb-stopping social media content and a basic understanding of social media guidance for a variety of platforms (including LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Facebook).
- Collaborate with studio and creative teams to develop compelling content.
- Conduct media relations efforts, including thorough media monitoring, proactively flagging relevant trends and articles, developing media lists, pulling analysis reports using tools such as Cision, Trendkite, Google Alerts, etc., and conducting media outreach.
- Support daily interaction with clients and prospects, work collaboratively with team members to achieve client objectives, help develop strategic recommendations, anticipate challenges, and ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1+ years of experience in Communications or Public Relations; previous experience within healthcare or pharma preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Strong writing, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Working knowledge of the MLR process, including proficiency in using platforms such as VeevaBase.
- Understanding of data/regulatory processes (e.g., clinical trial phases, FDA approvals).
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
- Curiosity and comfort with integrating AI tools into communications and workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to work as a member of a team and take ownership of tasks.

Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position, at the time of posting, is $57,000 - $67,000. The salary of the applicant selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, internal equity, geography, relevant years of experience, certifications, skills, abilities of the selected applicant, and other job-related qualifications.
