Responsibilities
- Client Management
- Operate as the lead point of contact on assigned projects within the client account.
- Provide quality control of client deliverables, ensuring the highest standards and alignment of creative brief details across the client and internal team.
- Manage internal and external client expectations.
- Develop best practices protocols for internal project teams to facilitate quality control.
- Coordinate and participate in content planning meetings with key content experts and personnel.
- Account Management
- Manage and deliver individual client project assignments.
- Facilitate the medical-legal-regulatory review process to ensure compliance, including uploading documents, tagging, and linking.
- Act as a subject matter expert on client tactics and deliverables.
- Work with the Project Management team to develop timelines and communicate milestones.
- Execute projects according to timelines and budgets; manage the internal team accordingly.
- Identify potential project red flags and proactively alert the team.
- Take detailed notes during client interactions, prepare client contact reports, and summarize next steps.
- Ensure relevant project materials are available for internal and external meetings.
- Finance
- Contribute to the development of client proposals, budgets, and reconciliations by identifying necessary tasks and coordinating with team members.
- Monitor budget, including direct and labor costs; notify the Account Supervisor of out-of-scope items and hours.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of financial and forecasting reports.
- Departmental Responsibilities
- Provide standard and customized status and financial reports to clients at specified intervals (e.g., weekly).
- Attend internal meetings with client services, meeting services, traffic, and other key personnel to discuss project status.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
- At least one year of experience as an Assistant Account Executive or Account Executive within advertising, marketing, communications, or a related industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Flexibility for possible travel up to 5%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical communications or healthcare industry experience.
- Experience with writing Statements of Work (SOWs) and project briefs, as well as contributing to strategic documents.
Pay
Reasonable estimate of the current range: $54,000 USD - $76,000 USD.
