Account Executive, Digital Sales
About the role
SS&C Intralinks is seeking an Account Executive to join the Digital Sales team. This role supports the Banks and Corporates sales organization, focusing on driving new business and managing the sales cycle.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business through various channels including inbound inquiries, outbound prospecting, and marketing events.
- Successfully sell SS&C Intralinks' software to large enterprises, emphasizing the value proposition and addressing client needs.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring they meet or exceed expectations.
- Manage a sales pipeline using SalesForce.com, documenting all activities and adhering to internal processes.
- Proactively discover, qualify needs, and demonstrate how SS&C Intralinks solutions can solve these needs.
- Understand key buyer personas and communicate relevant business challenges effectively.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of sales experience
- Ability to prospect, influence, and close sales deals over the phone
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales activity metrics
- Strong interpersonal and follow-up skills
- CRM experience, particularly with Salesforce
- Experience with Microsoft Office and web-based technologies
- Experience selling Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)
