About the role

Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company. The Account Executive - Contract Sales will sell Test & Inspection, Security Services, Fire Alarms & Detection, Mass Notification and 24-Hour Emergency Services to current and new clientele. The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
  • Focused on new business generation.
  • Prospecting, cold outreach, networking, and territory development.
  • Focused on new business generation.
  • Focused on our Test & Inspect and Monitoring services.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field OR one year of sales / customer experience required.
  • Resilience and persistence with rejection.
  • Strong presentation & interpersonal skills.
  • Competitive, self-driven, thrives on achieving stretch goals.

Other Duties

  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to travel.

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay Base Salary $40,000 - $50,000 plus commission.
