Account Executive, Commercial Sales
About the role
As the Account Executive (AE), you are responsible for developing and closing new business in an assigned geographic territory. You are expected to exceed monthly and quarterly quotas, manage deals effectively, and drive customer adoption and usage.
Responsibilities
- Drive success of the company's goals and objectives through achieving individual sales quotas.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting efforts into a geographic territory or within the core verticals.
- Develop and deliver customized sales presentations and product demonstrations, by phone and via online demo.
- Develop and negotiate enterprise-level proposals and contracts.
- Forecast sales activity and revenue achievements accurately using proper sales tools.
- Collaborate effectively with various pre/post-sales resources including Sales Development Representatives, Market Development Representatives, Solutions Consultants, Customer Success Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, as well as Legal, Security, Professional Services, and Customer Support.
Requirements
- Basic BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in an AE role or equivalent quota-carrying role.
- 3+ years of SaaS sales experience.
- Experience selling web-based products/services.
- Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to over-achieve quotas (top 10-20% of company).

Pay
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
- California: $39.30/hour - $59.68/hour
- Illinois, Colorado, Massachusetts and Minnesota: $38.00/hour - $52.25/hour
Schedule
This position is a Hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in-office presence, with flexibility to work remotely as needed.
