Account Executive (Closer) (Remote, New Orleans)

About the Role

Blacksmith Agency is growing its sales team across the US and Canada. As an Account Executive (Closer) at Blacksmith, you drive growth across both project-based engagements and ongoing marketing services, working with a diverse range of clients. You'll partner closely with SDRs, strategists, and leadership to win high-value business and expand existing accounts. This is a consultative hunter role for a confident communicator who excels in virtual selling, deep discovery, and managing complex multi-step sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close.
• Generate new business while growing existing client relationships.
li>Lead consultative discovery, solution development, and stakeholder alignment.
• Manage complex deals with multiple decision-makers.
• Partner with SDRs to convert warm leads into opportunities.
• Deliver compelling virtual presentations and proposals.
• Negotiate contracts and support legal and procurement processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a quota-carrying Account Executive role.
• Proven track record selling high-value solutions through consultative sales.
• Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes.
• Experience managing longer structured deal cycles of 3 to 12 months.
• Strong executive presence and communication skills.
• Comfortable selling in a primarily remote environment.
